The “love story” between PSG and Jordan Brand continues. The two entities present this Thursday the last Parisian tunic, the fourth of the season, as well as the new pieces of the partnership developed since September 2018. A black jersey with a blue-white-red band, in reference to the French flag, as well as the "Jumpman" logo, with the effigy of Michael Jordan. PSG will decorate this tunic on February 1 at the reception of Montpellier at the Parc des Princes.
The date chosen to unveil the collection is not trivial. This Friday takes place in Paris, at the Accorhotels Arena (12th arrondissement), the first match in the history of the NBA's regular season, the prestigious American basketball league. A confrontation between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Charlotte Hornets, franchise owned by Michael Jordan. The event was therefore conducive to the presentation of this jersey.
On the image provided by PSG and Nike, the parent company of Jordan brand, we thus find the stars of the Parisian club, Neymar, Mbappé, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Icardi. But also two of the Hornets players: the Frenchman Nicolas Batum, a big fan of PSG, and the Congolese Bismack Biyombo, who will be on the Bercy floor on Friday evening.
This is the second jersey of the season with the Jordan logo. Since its launch, the "PSG x Jordan" partnership has enabled the Parisian club to boost its sales of jerseys, even exceeding the million units sold last season.
