Mercato: Juve wants cash for side De Sciglio

2020-01-27T20:52:04.838Z

At PSG, the Cavani dossier at Atlético de Madrid is on standby. For Kurzawa, Juventus of Turin assesses its side at a higher price

It's Monday for nothing, or not much. The hot files of the Paris transfer window have not really advanced at the start of this week. That did not prevent certain Spanish media - Cadena Ser at the head - to evoke an agreement given by the PSG for the departure of its star striker of 32 years at Atlético Madrid. But according to our information, no agreement was found this Monday at the end of the day.

A few moments later, the Madrid club also refuted any form of deal between the two staffs. This while at the same time, the brother and agent of the player always said "very optimistic" about the completion of this transfer. For this, the Colchoneros will have to significantly increase their purchase offer which, to date, remains blocked at 10 million euros (M €) when the PSG waits between 15 and 20 M €.

No Gameiro to replace Cavani

But the day of Monday did not give rise to a new Madrid proposal, even if the contact between the two clubs is still real. Meanwhile, Cavani was present at the Camp des Loges. The top scorer in the history of the capital's club (198 goals) went there in the morning, as if nothing had happened, but there is almost no chance that he will be traveling to Pau, this Wednesday in the 8th finals of the Coupe de France. If this dossier were to be completed before this Friday evening, and if Paris decided to recruit a successor to its Matador, we are already assured that it will not be either Valencia attacker Kevin Gameiro (often quoted in Spain), nor Milanese Lucas Paqueta and Krzysztof Piątek.

Like Cavani, Layvin Kurzawa also joined the training center. And if the day has been successful, it is mainly for him. The Team has announced that the 27-year-old left-back has reached an agreement with Juventus Turin for the signing of a four-and-a-half year contract, until 2024. But again, this commitment from the former Monegasque with the Old Lady is subject to validation between the two clubs for the exchange with Mattia De Sciglio who, for his part, is offered 4 M € salary per season by Paris.

This Monday, however, this file was still not finalized as reported by a stakeholder. It appears that Juve assesses his player at a price higher than that of Kurzawa, even if the two side have the same age (27 years). But De Sciglio, who must resume training on Tuesday after his adductor injury, has a contract until 2022, while the Frenchman comes to the end of his lease in June. This would mean that the PSG will have to add a sum to finalize the exchange and, for the moment, the two parties have not found common ground on this financial aspect.
