Colin Dagba should be titular, this Wednesday in Pau (6.30 pm), in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, in a team largely overhauled compared to that which beat Lille Sunday (2-0). At a press conference, the 21-year-old right side spoke about his situation and that of his successors at the training center, Tanguy Kouassi and Adil Aouchiche, engaged in difficult negotiations for the signing of their first professional contract.
How do you adapt to not playing all the games?
COLIN DAGBA. It doesn't change anything, because you never know when you're going to play. I am always ready. If it is not the match that is coming, it will be the next one, so I do not relax.
Is your light gauge (1.70 m, 62 kg) an advantage or a disadvantage at your post?
In aerial duels, this can be a negative point, but it allows me to be quick, lively and to get out of certain situations under pressure. It is really an advantage for me.
What are the areas on which you want to progress this season?

Defensively, because it is most important for a defender. I try to be closer to the ball carrier. It was a bit of my fault last year. I try to harass the ball carrier more, to leave him less space. Offensively, I work on the last meters. I would like to score my first goal because I have been waiting for it for a year and a half!
Can you convince Adil Aouchiche and Tanguy Kouassi to sign their first professional contract?
I would like them to stay at PSG. After that, it is not my responsibility. It is between them, their agent and the club. I was patient and I had my chance. They too will have it, they could play in the Coupe de France, as well as in Ligue 1 and in the Coupe de France for Tanguy. The coach shows that he trusts them, it would be good if they continue the adventure at PSG.
Does PSG seem to you in better shape than last year at the same time, a few weeks from the Champions League?
More fit, I don't know, but we have really been feeling a big team cohesion for a few months. We connect very well matches and victories. I really feel ready to face the second half of the season.
How will you adapt to the lawn of Pau, which has been covered in particular with sand colored in green?
I saw the lawn an hour ago. It is true that it will be complicated. Nothing must be let go, everything given. The terrain is no excuse, because it is not top for the Palois either. We know that the match will be complicated, because they left Bordeaux in the previous round. In the Cup, teams give everything in one game, so you have to be ready.
