The Australian Open tennis organizers announced that Roger Federer was fined 3,000 dollars for uttering abusive phrases during his quarter-final victory over American Tenness Sandgreen.
Swiss star Federer told a post-match news conference that he used a mixture of languages to express his frustration with his decision to warn him.
Federer got a warning because of his insulting words in the third set of the match yesterday.
