It wasn't big tennis, no mistakes were lacking, but after four sets, Dominic Thames ousted Alexander Zabarb on the way to the Australian Open with 6: 3, 4: 6, 6: 7, 6: 7 - and he will meet Novak J. And Kovich in the final
The first act was entirely under the control of Zabrav. He was more concentrated, safer and easily completed 3: 6. In the second set Tim was already resetting himself, and though he worked hard, managed to break his opponent and win 4: 6 to balance the sets.
The third act symbolized the determination of the German and the Austrians, but it highlighted two somewhat negative things: Thyme's fatigue and Zebrab's restlessness, which often speaks to the referee.
Lighting problems, which stopped the game at the start of the ten minute campaign, also reset the players, but in the end it was Thim who managed to rise to a 1: 2 advantage in systems, after an equalizer.

The fourth act was done lazily. Tight, but also accentuates the ever-growing fatigue of thyme and zebra. The latter demonstrated his dissatisfaction more and more, including disappointments from the results of the "Hawk Eye" test, which set 4: 5 to the seas.
At that point, Thyme had to break Zabrav's submission to qualify for the final, but the German did not give up and dragged the campaign for yet another equalizer, and here we saw a replay. Despite his two mistakes, Tim completed the task en route to meeting with Jokovic in the final on Sunday.
Women: Surprise Finals
Earlier, there was a surprise in the women's semifinals, when the world's top-ranked Australian Ashley Barrett was ousted by US sophomore Sophia Kenin, who won 6: 7, 5: 7.
The 21-year-old Kenin qualified for the first Grand Slam final of her career, where she will meet Gervinia Mugorosa, who by the same result, in her own surprise, beat Simona Halp.
