The Syrian men's basketball team participates in the Jordan International Championship, whose competitions will be hosted by the Jordanian capital, Amman, on the tenth of this month, and will continue until the fourteenth of it, in addition to the teams of Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain and Jordan.
Our team’s participation in the Jordan International Championship comes in preparation for the Asian qualifiers, whose competitions will start on the twentieth of this month, with our team meeting its Iranian counterpart in the Group V competitions, which also includes the teams of Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Our team, represented by Al-Ittihad, recently participated in the Dubai International tournament, lost to the Philippine Mighty Sport 72-77 points, to Beirut, Lebanon 74-88 points, to the UAE team 66-82 points, and to the Tunisian Al-Radesi star 62-63 points.
