Barcelona (dpa) - The Spanish football champions FC Barcelona have reduced the gap to leaders Real Madrid to three points. The Catalans won 2-1 against UD Levante (2-0).
Real, which previously won the city derby 1-0 (0-0) against Atlético Madrid, have 49 points after 22 games, Barcelona 46. The only 17 year old Ansu Fati (30th and 31st) scored within 103 seconds for a quick 2-0 lead for the hosts. Rubén Rochina (90. + 2) scored the goal late.
Ex-Dortmund's Paco Alcácer, who only switched from BVB to Villarreal on Thursday, met in the first game for his new club. The 26-year-old took the lead in 3-1 (1-0) against CA Osasuna in injury time in the first half.
