After half a year during which he barely played football, in Maccabi Tel Aviv uniforms, striker Eliran Atar, left the champion and signed Wednesday morning for a season and a half at Ronnie Levi's Jerusalem Betar, after agreeing significantly to his salary terms.
Atar, who will be celebrating 33 in about a week and a half, will earn $ 250,000 a season. That is 125,000 euros until the end of the current season and the following season will earn the full amount. This is a significant compromise on the player, as he has earned over 400,000 euros per season in Tel Aviv.
However, within the agreement between the parties Atar also earned. If he finishes next season with 16 goals and cooking, his contract will automatically be renewed for the following season as well, and so, with high odds, Attar promised himself a two-and-a-half year contract. In addition, the player has already spoken to coach Ronnie Levy, and the two have put the past sediments aside.

The professional team continues to work to make our Betar stronger and better."
Eliran Atar, told Maccabi Tel Aviv's official website: "I thank the Maccabi Tel Aviv football club for the beautiful years. I am glad to have shared many happy moments and wish Maccabi a success later. "
Maccabi Tel Aviv added: "The club would like to thank Eliran Atar for the wonderful moments and wonderful gates throughout his seasons in the yellow-blue uniform. Eliran player is very much appreciated by the club, helped us to win titles and demonstrated professionalism throughout. The club wishes Eliran success later on. "
