The boys make up their ranking of the Sanremo Festival. As often happens, younger audiences show that they have very different tastes from those of adults. Or, at least, from those that emerge from the current provisional rankings. For the 1,500 children under 30 interviewed by the Skuola.net portal - among those who saw Sanremo or listened to the songs in the race - the absolute winners should be the Nuclear Tactical Penguins, with their "Ringo Starr". 18% of young people surveyed think they deserve triumph.
The vote of Generation Z, however, is very fragmented. The artist in second position, in fact, is not far away: it's Elettra Lamborghini, who with "Music (And the rest disappears)" collects 16% of the consents. Bronze medal for another 'over the top' character: Achille Lauro. He too, with "Me ne frego", stops one step away from the top (15%).
In fourth place is Elodie with "Andromeda", a piece written by the winner of last year Mahmood (another idol of young people): for her 13% of the preferences. And then there is the competition of the "New proposals". Here, unlike the big guys, according to the boys there should be an absolute triumph: the rapper Fasma, with "To feel alive": for over 1 in 3 he is the most convincing. While the podium is completed with an equal merit: in second place - with 16% - there are Leo Gassmann with "Vai bene così" and Eugenio in Via di Gioia with "Tsunami" (the latter already eliminated on the first evening).
But the real balance of the Sanremo Festival is not made in the race week. The winners are seen in the distance. They are the ones who will spend more on the radio, who will sell more records, which will be downloaded online, which will be listened to in streaming. Here things, according to the under 30, could slightly change. In the long run, for them, Achille Lauro and Elettra Lamborghini should appear (17% for both). To which one could own Fasma (14%). The Nuclear Tactical Penguins, on the other hand, risk slipping off the podium (with 12% they are fourth in this special ranking).
A more than achievable scenario: young people are the ones driving the record market today.
