The Syrian swimming team achieved four different medals "gold, two silver and bronze" on the first day of the Martin Cup tournament currently held in Thailand.
The swimmer Omar Abbas won the gold medal in the 400 freestyle in a time of 4.06.00 minutes, the silver in the 1500 freestyle in a time of 16.50.65 minutes, while Ayman Clasiya won the silver 400 in a time of 4.42.65 minutes and the bronze in the 50 butterfly in 24.22 seconds.
Players are left to participate further in the next two days in other races in the same tournament.
