Berlin (dpa) - Before it gets really exhausting for the fans and players in Germany with several English weeks, the Bundesliga teams can take a deep breath during the week. Internationally, however, sonorous cup games are on the agenda.
DERBY: After the cancellation of the Rhenish derby between Borussia Mönchengladbach and 1. FC Köln, the German Football League wants to announce the catch-up date this week. The appointment calendar is filled to the brim. And the carnival-crazy Cologne have already announced that they are against a start in the fifth season at the end of February.
CUP GAMES: There are two classics in the semi-finals of Coppa Italia. Inter Milan welcomes SSC Napoli on Wednesday (8.45pm). On Thursday (8:45 p.m. / both DAZN) AC Milan will play against leaders Juventus Turin on the spot. In Spain, the first round of the Copa del Rey takes place without the figureheads - FC Barcelona and Real Madrid had to say goodbye in the quarter-finals.
