Italian media reports Monday that Juventus are considering dismissing Maurizio Surrey and replacing Massiliano Elegri in his place.
According to reports in the La Republic, members of the club are calling for the return of Allegri, with President Andrea Anilei himself unsure of Surrey. Allegri was fired last June despite winning five consecutive Italian championships and is still under contract at the club. His name has occasionally been linked to the biggest clubs in Europe: Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester United and Tottenham, but he has not signed on any team.
Just last Saturday, the old lady lost a 0: 1 lead and lost to Verona, her third loss in the Italian league, after Lazio and Naples. The loss of points allowed Inter to overtake the Bianconeri in the table and rise to first place, with Lazio being below them with only one point less.
