The Syrian men's basketball team lost to its Jordanian counterpart, 67-75 points, in its first match at the Jordan International Championship.
Our team advanced in the first quarter with a score of 19-18 points, while the two teams tied in the second quarter with 18 points each, and the third and fourth quarters ended in favor of the Jordanian team by 18-14 points and 21-16 points.
Our team will meet with its Iraqi counterpart tomorrow and play with the Lebanon team tomorrow, and will meet at the end of its confrontations with the Bahrain national team next Thursday.
Our team participates in this championship as part of its preparations for the Asian qualifiers, whose competitions begin on the twentieth of this month.
