DFB Cup scheduled: date for Schalke against Bayern is set - fans can look forward to

The DFB has scheduled the quarter-finals in the DFB Cup. Especially the fans from Munich, Gelsenkirchen, Frankfurt and Bremen can look forward to the broadcasts.

• The quarter-finals in the DFB Cup will take place on March 3rd and 4th
• The games between FC Schalke 04 and FC Bayern will be played on Tuesday (3rd)
• ARD will broadcast the game live on free TV

Munich - The quarter-final draw in the DFB Cup was already last Sunday. Losfee Cacau pulled the cup cracker between Schalke and Bavaria.

The kick-off times had not yet been set at this point. The DFB has now made up for this and scheduled the dates for the cup quarter-finals . The other games have now also been set precisely.

The ARD will broadcast the quarterfinals game in the DFB Cup between Schalke 04 and Cup defender FC Bayern Munich on March 3rd. As Das Erste also announced on Tuesday, the game of Frankfurter Eintracht against Werder Bremen will be available on the public broadcaster on Wednesday, March 4th. The game starts at 8.45 p.m.

In another game of the quarterfinals, regional league 1. FC Saarbrücken will face Fortuna Düsseldorf on March 3 from 6.30 p.m. The next day, Bayer Leverkusen and 1. FC Union Berlin face each other (6.30 p.m.). This game will be broadcast on Sport1 . All games of the quarter-finals can be seen live on Sky .

The goal of the eight remaining teams is the final on May 23 in Berlin. FC Bayern had won 4: 3 against league competitor TSG Hoffenheim in the round of 16. FC Schalke had to go into extra time and defeated Hertha BSC 2-1.
