SCAN SPORT - A supporter of Castleford says that she was asked to put her flag in the LGBT colors that she had released in the stands during the match in Perpignan, against the Catalan Dragons, the team of Israel Folau.

Recruited this winter, Israel Folau made his big debut at home on Saturday with the Catalan Dragons in the Super League. The Australian, who had made homophobic and controversial remarks, stood out by registering from the 6th minute of play a test for his team. First ball and first try, therefore, for the Wallaby colossus who largely contributed to his team's 36-18 victory against Castleford.

During the meeting, a supporter of the visiting team posted a message on Twitter to protest the decision of the stewards prohibiting him from displaying an LGBT flag in the stands. “I have just been told that the flag was not authorized because the club prohibits it. It's disgusting, ”rebelled the young woman who accompanied her message with a photo of her waving the flag in the stadium.

“We were asked to put the flag away, first for health and safety reasons. When we replied that there were other flags (in the stadium, note), they gave up. They then came back to us to tell us that it was against the club's positions, "said Alison Gray a little later in an interview with Skysports .
