Lisa Hausdorf (born 2002 / AG Hamburg-West) took gold with 4: 30.03 minutes ahead of Lea Kruse (born 2001 / TV Wattenscheid), who crossed the finish line after 4: 32.30 minutes. A total of twelve athletes competed. Rath was next to Elena Schwarzkamp (SSC Berlin) - with a time of 4: 41.00 minutes tenth - the only athlete from the 2004 vintage. The other starters were all older.

Most recently, Rath caused a sensation at the Bavarian indoor championship. In an exciting 800-meter race in Munich, she won the title in the U18 age group with 2: 12.57 minutes. From the start, the 15-year-old had taken the lead in the field "and ensured a very high pace," said Markus Brennauer, coach at TSV Penzberg. Nevertheless, Nele Göhl (LG Eckental) always kept close on her heels. “I knew that Nele was stronger than me in the final sprint. So I had to walk them tired, ”Rath explained their tactics. Göhl actually got a little closer on the home stretch, but she was eventually left behind (2: 13.07). Rath won her second title much less spectacular: she ran 4: 40.88 minutes over 1500 meters. It was ten seconds ahead of the pursuers.
Rath has been living and training at the sports high school in Nuremberg for several months and has also started for LAC Quelle Fürth this year. Before that, she had competed for TSV Penzberg.
