Lazio rose up in the second half to turn backwards, with a 1–1 victory over Inter Milan and its opponent to pass second place in Serie A today.
Inter advanced with a goal by Ashley Yang near the end of the first half, but Lazio equalized through Chero Imobili from a penalty at the beginning of the second half before his teammate Sergei Milinkovich Savic scored the winner in the 69th minute.
After this victory, Lazio advanced to second place with 56 points and one point behind Juventus, while it led two points to Inter, who fell to third.
Lazio boosted its record by staying 19 games unbeaten in the league and also suspended a series of 16 games for Inter without a loss in the competition.
