Today, world swimmer Firas Mualla was elected president of the General Sports Federation and the Syrian Olympic Committee to succeed Major General Mowaffaq Juma during the work of the tenth general conference of the General Sports Federation, which started yesterday.
Previously, Firas Mualla won many Arab, continental and international championships in swimming. He also held many positions such as Chairman of the Executive Committee in Damascus, member of the Executive Bureau of the General Sports Federation, member of the Syrian Olympic Committee, Vice President of the General Sports Federation, Vice President of the Syrian Olympic Committee, Secretary General of the Syrian Olympic Committee and President of the Swimming Federation .
