The Syrian weightlifting team has won nine medals, three silvers and six bronzes in the Asian Championship currently held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.
Quadruple Mary Jaggili won three silver medals in the category of young women, while the quartet Mirna Hassan won six bronze medals in the categories of young women and men.
