The BSV Taufkirchen has successfully defended its title in the archery league district class Upper Bavaria East.
Taufkirchen– The archery league competition is a discipline in which eight teams consisting of up to eight archers compete against each other. Four rounds (yokes) are shot per match.
In a match, three shooters compete against each other, each shooter shoots two arrows, a total of arrows within two minutes. Only one shooter may stand on the shooting line. Fast changes, short concentration phase and precise shooting are required here.
After the first half of the season in Ebersberg, Taufkirchen was only two points behind the first ranked SBU Hallbergmoos 2. The second half of the season in Langenpreising brought the decision. The BSV Baptistery marched through the first five matches without any mistakes and scored two points per victory. In the sixth match there was a draw against host SpSch Langenpreising.
In the meantime, Hallbergmoos had to suffer two losses and was therefore one point behind Taufkirchen before the final and decisive comparison. The last match in which the two opponents competed directly against each other had to bring the decision between the first and second place.
Taufkirchen withstood the pressure and worked out a small lead after the first pass, which it could hold until the end. Now the team of BSV Taufkirchen around team leader Leo Lorenz with shooters Sem Kasper, Kurt Klarwein, Werner Lipka, Jennifer Thun and Johann Wachinger can hope for the ascent.
