Champions League: Signal Iduna Park transformed into a giant tifo

2020-02-18T20:41:43.708Z

THE SCAN SPORT - The entry of the players on the stadium lawn was accompanied by a great animation of the 66,000 spectators in Germany.

As expected, the Signal Iduna Park turned into a pressure cooker as the Paris SG and Borussia Dortmund teams entered the pitch just before 9:00 p.m. The 66,000 spectators of the German enclosure (including 3000 Parisian supporters) gave a great welcome to the twenty-two actors of the 8th final of the Champions League with a tifo which did not only color the famous Südtribüne (18,000 seats) , commonly known as the "Yellow Wall". The four sides of the stadium have been transformed to display the emblematic yellow and black colors of the Rhur club with the initials BVB, to the sound of the anthem of the Champions League.
