The association has given a clear rejection of Türkgücü Munich's idea of hosting home games somewhere in western Germany in the coming season.
"Such a move from Türkgücü Munich to North Rhine-Westphalia , for example, is not possible," Heike Ullrich , responsible director of clubs, associations and leagues at the DFB , is quoted in the press release on the DFB website, which was published specifically for the matter.
Regardless of a number of unanswered questions, according to Ullrich, one crucial criterion has not been met: “The regulations do mean that exceptions can be approved by the 3rd League Committee. Here, however, a spatial proximity to the seat of the club must be guaranteed. In the case of Türkgücü Munich , North Rhine-Westphalia is certainly not in close proximity. "

The cards in the stadium question are shuffled again. The association appeals, "in the interest of all involved, to find a reasonable solution together in Munich". The three clubs, the city of Munich , DFB and BFV are therefore "in intensive exchange".
