Syrian weightlifting player Izz Al-Din Al-Ghafir won three bronze medals in the Asian Youth Championship currently held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.

Our team won nine medals (three silvers and six bronzes) in the category of young women and men, through Mary Jaghili and Mirna Hassan.
