Around 20 participants of the newcomer course of the referee group Ammersee-Fürstenfeldbruck successfully passed the examination of the Bavarian Football Association on Friday evening.
This year, the candidates were distributed among fewer clubs than usual. TV Stockdorf alone sent five participants to the course, while TSV Fürstenfeldbruck-West was also strongly represented with four graduates. Only two youngsters from FC Greifenberg came from the Landsberg district.
In the final exam, which comprised 30 questions, many of the graduates achieved almost full marks. For group teacher Wolfgang Klotz, this is "proof that we are right with our training concept".
First assignments in the junior area
The goal is, of course, that as many young referees as possible stay with the pole and gradually whistle to a higher class. The young junior judges of the year 2020, who are still quite young, will now be deployed in the junior area to gain practical experience. "Taking care of newcomers even after the exam is very important to us," explains SRG chairman Christian Erdle. "Thanks to the direct feedback from the supervising colleagues at half-time and after the game, the newcomers learn a great deal and also feel more secure when they make their first appearances."
