The second-tier Premier League soccer stage competitions started today with two matches, the first of which gathered Al Wathba with Al-Ittihad and ended with the first victory with three goals without response and the second saw the army's victory over Al-Wahda with a goal of none.

On the Al-Galaa Stadium in Damascus, the match that brought together Al-Jaish and Al-Wahda ended with the first victory, with an unanswered goal scored by Ali Khalil in the last minute of the match, to make the army's score 26 points and advance to third place, while Al-Wahda's balance was frozen at 25 points and fell to fourth.

In the meeting held on the municipal stadium in Homs, Al Wathba achieved an important victory over Al-Ittihad with three goals without a response, scored by Burhan Zionist in the first minute, Maher Daaboul in the 52nd minute, Wael Al-Rifai in the 54th minute.

Al-Wathba, with this victory, raised its score to 27 points, and advanced to second place behind Tishreen with 30 points, and Al-Ittihad remained in fifth place with 22 points.
