Chelsea announced that last night at the team's home game against Manchester United it had kept away a fair amount of Red Devils fans who made homophobic cries at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea reported that a number of United fans were not allowed into the stadium before the game began and some were eliminated during the match. A statement from the Blues read: "In the match between the teams, a large group of United fans voiced improper homophobic cries and this behavior is not accepted by Chelsea."
In addition, the Blue Nationals announced that in the future those fans would be banned from entering the stadium in London and transferred the names to United's management who could take similar steps. United have partnered with Chelsea and issued a statement that it appreciates the backing of the crowd that came to the outfield game where the Reds won 0: 2 but these fans are not in line with the club's values and the matter will be dealt with soon.
