The Disciplinary Tribunal for the Football Association sentenced a harsh punishment of two actual radius games plus a financial fine of NIS 30,000 for fan riots that threw objects in the game against Hapoel Tel Aviv, which on two occasions also injured the referee, Rami Ben Yitzhak.
Dayan Yisrael Shimoni explained in his decision that: "In two cases the spark plugs hit the referee and grace seemed to make the judging team with the defendant when he did not stop the game. This team has convicted 13 this season and fan offense.
The tribunal also made it clear that these penalties were not related to the application of a probationary sentence that was against the group. Betar has not yet announced whether or not to appeal the decision.
