The handball men of HSG Isar-Loisach fight three times at TSV Gilching, but finally loses with 30:32.

Gilching - setback for the HSG Isar-Loisach handball players: after the unplanned 30:32 (13:16) defeat at TSV Gilching, they slide to sixth place in the district league. "Motivation was the only criterion that the hosts were superior to," said coach Adrian Marcu. But that was enough: Only at the beginning of the game were the guests in the lead - without being able to break away. Then they were constantly lagging behind. They caught up again several times - except for 22:22 16 minutes before the end and again in the final phase. "But that cost us a lot of energy," says Marcu. "Whenever it was our turn again, we made mistakes and Gilching moved away again."

The HSG coach only had three substitutes on the bench and finally put on his own jersey. In addition, Ante Doko, for example, had had an 18-hour return trip from vacation - not ideal conditions. Nevertheless, he still scored six goals. In addition, there was not a single circuit runner available to the HSG. The result: "We only threw a single goal from the circle," says Marcu. Konstantin Seemann succeeded.

Gilching turned out to be a completely different team than the one known from the first leg. Marcu: "Lots of young players, fully motivated." The game was initially characterized by mistakes on both sides. "We didn't really get into the game," complains Marcu. The tight leadership of the handball players from Geretsried and Wolfratshausen was soon gone.

Too many mistakes on the part of the guests let the table neighbor pull away. However, Isar-Loisach kept coming up to 9:10 after 5:10 behind. At 13:16 at the break everything still seemed possible.

After the change of sides, it took almost a quarter of an hour before Philip Teubert equalized at 22:22. Everything seemed possible again. But then again too many ball losses of the HSG handball players, the home side pulled away at 30:23. Nevertheless, it was exciting again when the guests shortened again. But after Dokos scored three goals at 30:32, the game was over.

"We now have a week off," says Marcu. "Then let's see what's in the remaining six games."

HSG Isar-Loisach: Przybylak, Aßmayr - F. Seemann 3, Schindler 5, Teubert 8 (4/4), K. Seemann 2, Doko 6, Marcu 2, Hohenreiter, Herrmann 2, Wolfgart 2.
