At the beginning it was still fitting for the handball men of SpVgg Altenerding 2 when playing away in Schleißheim. In the end, however, it set the next defeat for the district league team, which was also very high at 22:30 (8:17).
Altenerding - In view of the tense personnel situation, sporting director Nadi Özdemir had to help out on the pitch - he made the first two goals to make it 2-0. Afterwards they “slept”, as Özdemir emphasizes: “We just ran into the second wave too often.” Schleißheim turned the game and went on to 18: 7 until the break. Özdemir: "Of course, the matter was already decided."
Altenerding 2 fought very well in the second section and lowered the error rate. However, nothing could be changed about the ultimately clear defeat. Most field goals scored that day, Simon Lorenz, who can definitely be called a ray of hope. Slowly but surely it is getting tight in the fight for relegation in the district league. With 6:18 points Altenerding is still in ninth place in the table.
