The pair Anaïs Bescond - Emilien Jacquelin (world pursuit champion Sunday and preserved yesterday for individual) took the bronze medal in the mixed relay at the world biathlon championships in Antholtz (Italy) this Thursday afternoon, a race won by Norway and the duo Johannes Boe-Marte Roeisland, before Germany by Erik Lesser and Franziska Preuss. After a good start from Anaïs Bescond, who gives the relay in 2nd position, Emilien Jacquelin is more struggling, and when the French starts again, the duo is 8th. But the two biathletes then completed a very good second part of the race to finally outpace Sweden by six seconds.
In the medal ranking, France remains second with five medals behind Norway and its seven charms, including three world titles.
