Manhandled at the Stade Vélodrome, Olympique de Marseille logically lost against Nantes (1-3). Well back in their match, the Nantes opened the scoring thanks to Limbombe (34th) before Morgan Sanson equalized for the Phocaeans with a superb coiled strike (39th). But at the start of the second period, Bamba gave the advantage to the Canaries (53rd) and the men of Villas-Boas could not return to the score and we conceded a last goal at the end of the match, through Alvaro (90 + 1), who unfortunately pushed the ball into his goal.
Marseille misses the opportunity to widen the gap, but remains in second place with eleven points ahead of Rennes (3rd). Nantes goes back to 13th position.
