Paris (dpa) - Trainer Thomas Tuchel of Borussia Dortmund's Champions League opponent Paris Saint-Germain has reacted angrily to pictures of an exuberant birthday party of his superstars.
"I was really surprised by the video," said Tuchel at a press conference ahead of his team's league home game against Girondins Bordeaux on Sunday.
The video of the party, which had taken place only two days after the 1: 2 defeat against BVB in the first knockout round, showed exuberant celebration scenes. Ángel Di María, Mauro Icardi and Edison Cavani had their birthday recently and therefore invited to a big celebration.
The picture shows Neymar, who had only recently recovered from an injury, dancing up and down with his bare torso. Cavani swings his jersey over his head.
"It was a day off, yes. It's your private life, yes," said Tuchel. "But you can be sure that we are not happy with this party image," said the 46-year-old and was clearly disappointed. The pictures had been spoken inside the club. At first, nothing was known about sanctions.
