Kaiserslautern (dpa) - Third division soccer team 1. FC Kaiserslautern has surprisingly separated from goalkeeper coach Gerry Ehrmann after more than two decades, as the Palatinate confirmed on request.
The 61-year-old Ehrmann stood for the FCK between 1984 and 1998 himself between the posts and then took over the task as goalkeeper coach. At Betzenberg he formed, among other things, the goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller, Kevin Trapp and Tim Wiese. According to information from the German Press Agency, Ehrmann has fallen out with the current Lauterer head coach Boris Schommers. The "Bild newspaper" had first reported on the separation.
