In Bnei Yehuda, it is hard to believe that the qualifying round for the top playoffs is solely up to themselves when a victory in the upcoming cycle over Hapoel Haifa will guarantee them another season among the top six. "If we are in the top playoffs it will be crazy, a big achievement. See that Elisha has made a change here," the club said on Monday.
Bnei Yehuda praised midfielder Amit Zanti, who rose from the bench and conquered the victory gate, as well as midfielder Samson Mimbala, saying: "Seeing that he has football, it was not easy to get players in January."
Zanti said today: "All week, every single player played one another to beat Raanana and we talked about how important it is for the club to be in the top playoffs. I'm sure we can beat Hapoel Haifa and reach the top playoffs. I can't wait to start the game."
Speaking about bringing the change off the bench, Zanti said: "It's a matter of professionalism. Every player who develops or rises from the bench should step up with a frenzy and give his century percentage. I'm glad I conquered. It was a stray ball and I took the opportunity."
