However, two weeks before the Bayernliga-Süd top game at FC Deisenhofen, the team from the Dachau hinterland performed well over long distances.

Daniel Leugner was responsible for the 1: 1 equalizer in the meantime, he drove the gaming device technically clean by drop kick from 16 meters into the host's housing.

In the course of the game it became clear that the host is currently in better juice - and also has more staff options than the team from the Dachau hinterland.

There was bad news for the FCP when it was warming up: Defensive specialist Fabian Müller injured his calf. Whether it is “just” a strain or something worse, will show up at the beginning of the week after a visit to the team doctor.

In the Fuggerstadt, the FCP coaching duo had to do without some players. Goal scorer Pablo Pigl signed off on the day of the flu because Paolo Cippola had been hit last week. Marcel-Pascal Ebeling had to pass due to a hamstring strain that he contracted during the test match in Kaufering. The attacking section of FC Pipinsried was badly damaged. Due to the many failures, Daniel Leugner was summoned to the storm center.

The Bergkirchner did a very good job, the technically demanding goal mentioned 1: 1 speaks for itself.

"Overall, it was a very good test for us"

“Augsburg put a lot of pressure in the first 20 minutes, they pressed very high. We knew that and were pretty well prepared for it, ”said FCP coach Fabian Hürzeler after the game. What the coach should not have liked was the way the first goal was scored because he fell out of a counterattack. The FCP defense was once again moved too far, so there were open spaces that the host made optimal use of.

The youngsters of the Bundesliga club had additional chances in the starting phase, which were either miserably missed or defused by guest keeper Johann Hipper.

After 20 minutes, the team from the Dachau hinterland took command - and consequently they came to the equalizer.

After the break, the 50 spectators saw a similar picture as in the first section: At first, the Fuggerstädter took command, but then Pipinsried found the game better. However, the FCP ran out of steam with increasing playing time, FCA coach Josef Steinberger had brought in a lot of fresh forces during the game. The Bundesliga reserve had the staying power and came back two more at the end of the game.

“Overall, it was a very good test for us. We have seen where there is still a shortage and will work accordingly in training, ”summed up FCP trainer Fabian Hürzeler.
