'It's the new Odegaard': Barça and Real Madrid follow closely

Barça and Real Madrid are two interested in Kristoffer Ajer, of Celtic Glasgow

Norwegian cracks are in fashion. And it is not for less, seeing the exceptional performance that several of them are offering, such as Martin Odegaard, in the Royal Society, or Erling Braut Hâland, in the Red Bull Salzburg, first, and in Borussia Dortmund, now. Finally, a country with hardly any football tradition shows its head in the elite.

And soon, there is a new player called to follow in the footsteps of his countrymen, who are already in 'top' clubs, but soon they can take an even bigger leap. His name is Kristoffer Ajer, and he is 21 years old. Its preferred position is that of central, although it can also act as a defensive pivot or even as a right side, which speaks of its qualities.

He is tall, fast, has a good start, is blunt, intelligent ... He left the modest Start of his country, being just a teenager, and was invited by the best clubs on the planet to know its facilities. Liverpool, Ajax of Amsterdam, PSV Eindhoven, Chelsea, Rome, Olympique de Lyon, Borussia Dortmund ... but, against all odds, he chose the Celtic of Glasgow.

There, it was clear that he would adapt much faster to the elite, and would have more opportunities to reach the highest level. And so it has been, since he has been the head of the defense for three seasons, and in this course, without going any further, he accumulates 45 games between all competitions. Scotland is already small, and is soon called to make the leap to one of the big leagues.

Barça and Real Madrid follow him closely, and they have already priced him at 20 million euros . But his most likely fate seems to be Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City, who knows him perfectly, and who believes he can explode under his orders.

Ajer will be one of the protagonists in the future.
