The volleyball players from TSV Herrsching and the basketball players from FC Bayern Munich have agreed: For the play-offs, the WWK Volleys are moving to the Audi Dome.
Herrsching - Now it's official: WWK Volleys Herrsching will play their second leg in the play-off quarter-finals on April 1st at the Audi Dome in Munich. This was confirmed yesterday by the volleyball Bundesliga team from Ammersee. “No more dodging to Austria or Lower Bavaria” the Herrschinger headed their press release. The responsible persons of TSV Herrsching agreed with the basketball players of FC Bayern Munich. Both clubs signed the relevant contracts earlier this week.
WWK Volleys Herrsching: "Great opportunity for us"
"This is a great moment and a great opportunity for us," says Fritz Frömming. The team manager was very grateful for the cooperation with FC Bayern Basketball. "The FCBB officials were really accommodating and provided us with advice and assistance throughout the entire discussion."
Max Hauser, coach of the self-proclaimed hottest club in the world, is looking forward to the game. "We have been told very often in recent years what is not possible and what we cannot achieve," said Hauser. The coach adds: “Being able to play in the Audi Dome now is not only a big deal, but also further proof of what has always characterized us as a GCDW: never give up, work together to achieve success and then be the strongest, when nobody is counting on us anymore. "
Ticket sales will start in the coming days
Since the athletic qualifications are almost in good hands, those responsible can concentrate fully on the game on April 1st. It is not yet clear who the opponent will be. Four games before the end of the main round, Herrsching is fifth.
It was now against VfB Friedrichshafen. Definitely the most attractive opponent by name - and perhaps currently the most beatable. As a precaution, the TSV blocked the date for a possible semi-final (April 12). Ticket sales for the quarter-finals will start in the coming days.
