Barcelona (dpa) - Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas has secured the best time at the end of the Formula 1 tests.
On Friday, the Finn relegated Max Verstappen (+0.073 seconds) to second place in the Red Bull in 1: 16.196 minutes. World champion Lewis Hamilton (+0.214 seconds) in the second Mercedes was fifth on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya directly behind Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc (0.164 seconds). His Scuderia stable rival Sebastian Vettel was not in use on the last day of the test. Bottas had already completed the fastest lap overall in 1: 15.732 minutes during the six-day test drives last week. The first Grand Prix of the season will take place on March 15th in Melbourne.
