LOÏC GODENER. We missed out on Bayonne but we want to make a real rugby match this time. We know that it will be difficult in Toulon against the best scrum in the championship. It is a challenge to be met. We want to give ourselves the means to play our game.

When you see the ranking, yes. You shouldn't lie to yourself. We are second to last, each game is important and there are not many left ( Editor's note: nine days ). How did you reactivate after the defeat at Bayonne?
Against Bayonne, we were all disappointed. The return was very long for all. When we met on Monday we were all big on the potato. Bayonne played very well, we will not lie, but we have not shown our true face. We are committed to catching up.
You experienced the descent with Grenoble last season. What advice could you give to your partners?

I don't need to speak, the coaches do it very well. We don't have a joker. If we let games go at the end, we will cry. Every team that plays against us is going to want to take points. We are the hunted and each adversary who receives us or moves with us is a hunter.
Was the context in Grenoble similar to that of the Stade Français?
I respect Grenoble a lot and I owe a lot to this club but Makalou, Matera, Waisea, Sanchez, we have the players and the team to play higher. But we are penultimate…
Before going to Bayonne, you had left the red zone. Has there been a relaxation?
Maybe but not from those I spoke with. The coaches however warned us as after the success against La Rochelle that it would be difficult. We may have thought it would be easy. We all went back to work.
