Holzkirchen - Some swimmers of SV Grün-Weiß Holzkirchen celebrated the premiere in front of their home backdrop. In the Batusa indoor pool, the association organized the German swimming team competition in District 1 Upper Bavaria. The audience saw exciting competitions. Jan Hug (born 2006) started over 400 meters for the first time and achieved an excellent time of 5: 57.48 minutes. The brothers Lukas and Sebastian Rieß also confidently swam over 200 meters to the finish. The second brothers duo in Holzkirch's team were just as successful, because Benedikt and Georg Walser also relegated their opponents to the rear. Moritz Werner left every opponent over 50 meters breast with a time of 0: 30.16 minutes as well as over 100 meters breast.

Ludwig Huber also had a good day. He had several new best times. Over 200 meters freestyle he managed 1: 58.75 minutes, the 100 meters freestyle he swam in 0: 52.74 minutes. Marvin Rau was happy about 20: 48.81 minutes in the strenuous 1500 meter freestyle race. Kai Bjarne Niederau plowed through 800 meters of freestyle in 10: 56.51 minutes.

Right at the start of the competition, the Holzkirchner men took the lead and no longer gave it up. So they were celebrated as winners with a lead of 2065 points. With 13,914 points so far in the current season, the Holzkirchner lead the table in Bavaria - and thus advance to the Landesliga.

The women's team reached sixth place in the overall ranking. Some girls started in the competition for the first time, drawing attention to themselves with good times despite the long distances. Sina Albert, born in 2006, convinced over 800 meters of freestyle while Marlene Bickel of the same age achieved a strong time of 24: 15.31 minutes over 1500 meters of freestyle. A major challenge was mastered by Yolanda Humphris and Senja Quicken, who completed eight lanes over 200 meters of butterfly without any major problems. Eva Aringsmann, Mia Oswald, Christina Seidl and Inka Wolf were all fun to watch because the four swimmers achieved new personal bests.
