The district office issued a corresponding order after another corona case in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district had become known. According to Peter Gast, the Dutch club Tilburg Trappers (he participates in the Oberliga Nord) received a recommendation on Tuesday without playing fans. During the course of Tuesday, clubs such as Deggendorf and Rosenheim are already pre-selling tickets.
EC Peiting: Play-off-Aus meets club especially sporty

They are the salt in the soup. ”Ultimately, the sporting part is only a marginal aspect:“ Health comes first, ”explains Gast. "You don't want to expose anyone to any danger." Games without spectators are simply not economically feasible for ice hockey clubs. In addition, in the play-offs, in which the southern clubs compete against the northern clubs and thus have large travel costs.
The play-off hit the ECP - he would have played against the Hamburg Crocodiles in the round of 16 - especially sporty. Financially, the club has always calculated carefully. The damage caused by lost income during the most beautiful time of the year for ice hockey fans "is limited," says Gast. Unlike many other clubs, the ECP has only two professionals on the team, the contingent players. The ECP had expected around 1300 spectators in the play-off home games.
EC Peiting: No play-off games against Hamburg Crocodiles
It is not yet clear how the play-offs and play-downs will continue in the Bayern League. For the Peißenberg "ice hackers" the matter was done anyway: In the third pre-play-off game against EHC Waldkraiburg, the team lost 2: 3 after extra time.
The Bavarian Ice Sports Association (BEV) announced on Wednesday that it was “officially canceling the championship game for its age groups U13 to U20”. This also applies to all final tournaments and friendly matches. Permits that have already been granted "will be withdrawn". On Tuesday, the game operations in the age groups U7 to U11 were canceled. As a result, TSV Peißenberg had to cancel its planned small-field tournament for Saturday, March 14 and the U-13 tournament planned for Sunday. Given the developments, TSV President Rießenberger is faced with the question of how the club's own stadium should operate. Actually it should be open until March 21st - various hobby teams have still booked ice ages. "We will find a solution," said Rießenberger. A meeting is scheduled to take place on Wednesday evening.
