BIATHLON
World Cup in Kontiolathi, Finland
Sprint, men
3.30 p.m. (ARD and Eurosport)
In Kontiolahti, the men will start the penultimate World Cup of the season on Thursday (3.30 p.m. / ARD and Eurosport) with the ten-kilometer sprint. Thuringian Lucas Fratzscher returns to the men's team. The 25-year-old has just secured overall victory in the IBU Cup and is getting the starting place from Roman Rees. In addition to Fratzscher, Arnd Peiffer, Benedikt Doll, Philipp Horn, Johannes Kühn and Simon Schempp are in the first competition in Finland.
SKI JUMPING
World Cup in Trondheim, Norway
Single, large hill
Men 5 p.m. (ZDF and Eurosport)
Women 8 p.m.
The third raw air station is on the program. In Trondheim, Karl Geiger is fighting for his last chance to win the duel with Stefan Kraft (Austria) in the overall World Cup. While the men travel from Lillehammer to the ski flying hill in Vikersund after the individual, the raw air tour ends in Trondheim for the women. Because of the corona virus, jumping in Trondheim takes place without spectators.
