Helmut Lämmermeier announces personnel changes at the SCBV
In a detailed press release, SCBV head of department Helmut Lämmermeier announced various personnel changes (see box), including the separation of coach Shala at the end of the season. Lämmermeier emphasizes that the decision to end his work with a personal friend was not an easy one: “Gzim Shala worked extremely hard at SCBV, but the desired success was not as sustained as hoped. We are very grateful to Gzimi for the work he has done and how he lived for the club. I would like him to continue the current season and to bring it to a successful end. ”
Shala himself said that the decision was taken on the phone. “We couldn't meet in person. I was not angry or disappointed, that's how it is in the football business, ”says Shala. "And whether the board makes the decision now or me at the end of the season doesn't really matter."
For Gzim Shala, canceling the season is the very last option
It depends on the development of the Corona crisis whether he can look after his team again from the coaching bench and sportily complete his second season in Baldham. The Bavarian Football Association (BFV) has dated the resumption of play operations on April 19 at the earliest, but does not mean that the season will not be canceled. "There is no fair solution," says Shala. "Personally, I would only choose cancellation as the very last option, as long as we could start again by early July."

If he can no longer return to the SCBV coaching bench, he wishes the club and his successors every success. "I had two good years here, in which it was not just me, but also the environment that we did not have the desired success. We were 22 games first in the district league. Sebastian Kneißl takes over next season
Returnees Sebastian Kneißl, 37, will tackle this step in the new season. Kneißl announced his farewell as player coach of the SV Heimstetten II district club at the end of February with the “medium-term goal of the regional league”. The former Chelsea professional was 19 times successful in 22 games during his first SCBV guest appearance (2015/16).
