FIBA has applied to the Jerusalem Municipality to arm the arena between September 30 and October 4 for the hosting of the Champions League Final 8 tournament, Israel Today announced.
Earlier, Tuesday, the plant's management announced that the current season will end with a concentrated tournament that will include eight teams and the champions will depart.
In the official announcement, FIBA said the details of the host city will be published below, but we are now announcing that there is a high chance that the games will be held in the capital of Israel.
Hapoel Jerusalem has qualified for the quarter finals in the factory, and is scheduled to meet Spanish San Pablo Burgos. In the original program, the Reds were to host the Final Four if they were to qualify, and there is still a high chance of hosting a European title at home.
It should be noted that this is during the initial phase of FIFA and there may be contacts with several other halls across Europe to leave some options from which the host city will be selected.
