Comment on the flick extension: Now it really starts

Munich - In the Corona crisis, no one really knows what will happen next. FC Bayern is now a bit smarter: The head coach will continue to be called Hansi Flick - as planned until 2023. This decision is absolutely logical! FCB plays remarkable and successful football under Löw's former assistant, the dominance missing under predecessor Niko Kovac is back.

It remains to be seen whether the currently interrupted season will continue. It is therefore hardly worth talking about short-term goals. After the Corona break , Flick has to prove much more that he is constantly developing a team as the main person responsible - and in the best case can lead to Europe's throne . Sooner or later, the coaches in Munich always had to be measured against this.

Another challenge is the interaction with Hasan Salihamidzic . Recently there have been increasing signs that the relationship between coach and sports director is not unencumbered.
