The BFV has presented two variants for the further course of the current season. The majority of the district associations vote to continue the season.

District - Immediate termination of the season including cancellation. Or a continuation of the current season from September. The Bavarian Football Association (BFV) presented these two variants in a video conference in response to the Corona crisis on Friday. The BFV itself clearly campaigned for a continuation of the season (we reported). However, the opinion of its members is important to the committee. All clubs in the Free State had the opportunity to vote in favor of one of the two options until 6 p.m. yesterday evening. The BFV also wants to make a decision on Wednesday based on this survey. The Tagblatt asked how the district clubs voted.

State league

1. FC Garmisch-Partenkirchen goes with the association. "We approved the BFV proposal," says Arne Albl. The top priority for the regional board's sports director is that all decisions regarding promotions and relegations are resolved through sport. Even if 1. FC as fifth in the table would not be affected anyway. "But that's about the principle." Albl hopes that a new game plan will not include too many English weeks. "Employers would be grateful if all the Landesliga kickers needed free time every second Wednesday from noon."

District league

Unanimity in the district league. With SV Ohlstadt, TSV Murnau and SV Uffing, all three district representatives voted to continue the season from September. However, the reasons are different. Klaus Staltmeier, head of department in Uffing, sees the "yes" of the SVU as a sign of solidarity. He emphasizes: "We don't want to put anyone in liability." Neither the BFV, who fears a large wave of lawsuits from possible relegation in the event of a season break, nor higher-class clubs that face problems with sponsors. "You have to see the big picture."

Michael Adelwart wants one thing above all from the BFV: planning security. "And I have one more tick in the Continue Playing variant," says the head of department at TSV Murnau. A breakup creates too many uncertainties. He is not concerned with sporting issues. "Whether the first half of the season counts or not is not decisive." Adelwart simply yearns for a perspective for his members. "The ball must finally roll again."

Markus Weber also sees it that way. "Ready to play, no matter how" is the motto of the SVO soccer boss. However, he has problems with the association's approach. "The vote is a complete humbug," Weber clarifies. "In the end, politics decides what happens - and not the BFV."

District class

Leonhard Gansler is also somewhat skeptical about the survey. In the end, those responsible from Munich would implement what they have in mind anyway. "You noticed that clearly in the video conference," says the head of the WSV Unterammergau. But Gansler can only be right. The WSV is in first place with the first and second team. "Of course, we don't stand in the way if things should go on soon."

While Christoph Weidehaas and his FCK Schlehdorf are primarily concerned with “being able to pursue our passion again as quickly as possible”, FC Bad Kohlgrub gives out. "We are for a demolition," says chairman Sepp Geipl. Football is irrelevant in the current situation. His credo: "Set the pointers to zero and start again when everyone is healthy and can drink a beer together." It is clear to him that he belongs to the minority with this opinion - "but it doesn't matter". Geipl did not take part in the BFV video conference. "In the afternoon at three, only people who really have nothing to do - or who dig their noses all day - have time."

A class

The Bad Kohlgruber found two supporters in the A-Class. SV Eschenlohe and FC Mittenwald also spoke out for a season break. The concept of the BFV for the continuation of the season was simply “too opaque” for the Isar Valleyers. FCM secretary Matthias Dallmayr emphasizes: "Nobody can say what the coming season will look like." There is calm at the present end. "And everyone knows their way around."

The "No" from Eschenlohe is based on other motives. Thomas Hesse fears that there will be numerous game cancellations. “If a player is infected with the virus,” says the SVE trainer, “the whole team has to be taken out of circulation for weeks.” Football can only be considered once a vaccine is available across the board. In addition, under the current conditions, attempts at fraud are open to Hesse. "If I have too few people, I simply say that there is a suspicion of corona in the team and the game is moved backwards." According to him, that the SVE is in the relegation battle, hoping for an end of season " do nothing at all ”.

In Oberammergau and Grainau, an early end to the season would be bearable from a sporting point of view. Both teams are in the middle of the table. But they argue for a continuation. "It would be unfair for the clubs that are at the top," said SCG chairman Christoph Elsner. Michael Drewing agrees. The head of the Oberammergau department underlines: "Football has to be decided on the pitch." Krüns division head Bernhard Wilde brings another aspect into play: When a season ends, he thinks primarily of those players who end their careers. "The stage is taken from them for a proper farewell - I think that would be a shame."

The SG Oberau / Farchant also belongs to the Pro-BFV side. Although the women of FC Oberau are in the district league on a relegation zone, the men of the SG march straight towards the district class ascent. FCO chairman Florian Brück says: "Both teams should land where they belong in terms of performance - and that in a sporty way."

B class

The district's B-Classists are divided. While FC Megas Garmisch-Partenkirchen understandably would like to finish its ascent mission, VTA Garmisch-Partenkirchen belongs to the camp of the season's dropouts. Head of department Zeki Serdaroglu suggests: "Don't go around for long, just cancel everything." And when the pandemic has flattened out at some point - "it starts again, as usual".
