At SpVgg Unterhaching, the following still applies: training without a competitive character.

Unterhaching - The players are sweating again on the lawn, head coach Claus Schromm shows himself with the first healthy spring tan on the edge of the square on Unterhachinger Sternstraße. The professionals of the SpVgg have returned to a certain everyday training routine. One who admittedly "is soccer training and has a lot to do with the ball, but has nothing to do with competition", the coach admits. A group of four with Jim-Patrick Müller and Captain Josef Welzmüller is the last to complete their program on Wednesday afternoon. The players are on the pitch three times a week, with 75 minutes each, the units are thoroughly planned. Twice a week there is also still individual training at home on the program. At SpVgg, you somehow get ready for a possible continuation of the season in the third division. It is still unclear whether gaming will resume. Schromm continues to hope that the game will be played again and that a final sporting decision will determine the final table - although for Hachinger, as the current third party, it could even go unexpectedly well if the season ended: with the promotion. "But we want the season to come to a sporting conclusion, if that is possible in a social and health context," says Schromm.

For some time now, President Manfred Schwabl has also been pleading publicly not to stop the season, and if circumstances permit, to return to the stadiums. The opposing opinions within the league that had mutated into an open confrontation were to be cleared up on Tuesday. At the beginning of next week, the club representatives will meet again "in order to come to a well-founded opinion based on the facts available", as the DFB announced. In its regular meeting on Friday, the DFB Presidium will “deal with the framework conditions for a possible resumption of play”.

The squad is now almost entirely on the pitch in small groups. Only Marc Endres (ligament tears in the ankle) is missing, and unlucky Alexander Kaltner has injured again. The 20-year-old twisted his knee and had to take a break for around two weeks. Alexander Fuchs is also struggling and only runs light runs.
