According to a report in Greece, Maccabi Tel Aviv is one of three Euroleague groups who opposed voting on the agreement reached with the players' organization. Along with Olympiakos and Greek Panathinaikos, Maccabi prefers to negotiate with players regardless of league factors, the report said.

This after yesterday's Euroleague announced that the following outline has been reached with the players 'organization: If the season continues in accordance with the optimistic scenario, players' contracts will be extended for a month and receive 85 percent of the seasonal salary set in their original contracts. If the season does not continue, players will receive 80 percent of their salary.

On another topic - will there be a clash between the Spanish League and the Euroleague? Currently, the Spanish league plans to continue the season in July in the Final 8 tournament in one city, and yesterday the Euroleague decided on a similar program to end the season, which is due in July as well.

If both programs come to fruition, in Spain it is reported that Barcelona would prefer to participate in the Euroleague rather than appear in the Spanish league tournament.

As we recall, after a meeting yesterday, it was decided that if the health situation across Europe allows, on May 29, all Euroleague players will enter the isolation of two weeks to June 11. After leaving, each team will hold a closed training camp between June 12 and July 2 and then all 18 teams will convene for one city and hold a season-ending tournament to be held July 4-26. The tournament will include 54 games remaining for the regular season and immediately thereafter knockout games from the quarter finals onwards.
