Operations in the sports clubs in the Freising district are still standing. The members are loyal to their clubs - but the demands for easing are getting louder.

County - In times of Corona, operations in the largest sports clubs in the county continue to stand still - the clubs are taking a variety of approaches to bridging this compulsory break. Members and trainers remain loyal to the clubs. But the officials, like the representatives of the business community, emphasize that this state of affairs cannot last for several months.

TSV Jahn Freising

Behind the Alpine Club, TSV Jahn Freising with its around 4,400 members is the second largest club in the district - and here 2nd chairman Franz Lupp observes "no significant increase in the number of members leaving the club". Any effects of the lockdown can only be recorded in a few weeks. "We reacted quickly and, with the school closings, also closed our sports business," says Lupp. The club paid its trainers until Easter, but then also implemented the break here.

If not in the hall, then at least outside: Franz Lupp, 2nd chairman of TSV Jahn Freising, hopes that the members of individual departments will be able to meet again soon. Outdoor gymnastics would be one of the first options after a restart.

However, the Jahn family has developed a solution for coaches who are in urgent need of this money: They earn remuneration by shooting videos that are offered to members on the Internet for “sport in their own four walls”. Lupp now hopes that the first departments of the extremely broad-based association could meet again soon. Outdoor gymnastics with a sufficient distance between the individual participants is likely to be one of the first sports options to start again.

TSV Neufahrn

The TSV immediately took financial measures because of Corona: During the sporting break, the club does not charge any line fees and has reimbursed the money for courses that are currently paused. The club was not harmed by the instructors, as they are remunerated for course hours held on a fee basis. "We actively approached the people," explains Chairman Frank Bandle - and that is why there were no resignations beyond what is normal for such a large club.

The TSV Neufahrn did not sit back, however, but created creative offers: there is a fitness trail behind the naturally closed club restaurant, on which the active people can confirm themselves - as it were within the limits of the permitted walking. So that people can keep fit at home, the TSV Neufahrn offers videos with workouts by Felix and Paul Ilberg on its website, which many competitive athletes such as the handball players of the HSG Freising-Neufahrn also use.

But this is not the only point where TSV Neufahrn moves with the times: the club's board of directors has already met in video conferences - and now various groups are to join together on the Internet to see each other and play sports together. These pictures are also known from FC Bayern Munich, when the soccer players were not allowed on the training grounds and therefore did exercises together at home by video conference.

SG Moosburg

"If we are not allowed to play amateurs, then the professionals should not either." Johann Berger, chairman of SG Moosburg, on the efforts of the clubs from the Bundesliga to resume play as soon as possible.

Speaking of football: FC Bayern and the rest of the Bundesliga are currently a thorn in the side of chairman Johann Berger: "If we are not allowed to play amateurs, then the pros shouldn't," emphasizes the club manager of SG Moosburg. "The solidarity in the population should also apply to professional footballers," says Berger with regard to the efforts of the 1st Bundesliga to start again as soon as possible.

His club is traditionally strong in handball - and here Johann Berger is building on the fact that after the end of the season and the upcoming summer break, training can begin again in the usual manner. However, if this is not the case, he sees greater difficulties for SGM. "So far everything is fine," says the chairman about the current situation with members and trainers. The Moosburg large association still has air for around a month. At the same time, Berger makes it clear that a long standstill would be extremely critical for the sports club: "If we don't worry now, when?"

TSV Allershausen

"A week ago I was even more depressed," says Hans Spada, the first chairman of TSV Allershausen. However, he is now more confident that members and sponsors are loyal to the club. Spada repeatedly refers to "the most beautiful sports area in the district" - and he wants to play with his club again as soon as possible. The chairman thinks, for example, of the tennis department - a sport in which the active do not get close. The club demonstrates cohesion. You have to send people from the facility every now and then to play football and say that it is a large family of six.

TSV Nandlstadt

Even with the broadly based club in Hallertau, the thumb goes up carefully. "We are waiting for the things that will come," says TSV chairman Andreas Steininger. The members remained loyal to the club - and the chairman emphasized that they were ready: "If we can do sports again, we will start again immediately."

SpVgg Zolling

The club from the Ampertal currently has a completely different problem - after all, the SpVgg lost the host of the sports home in the early days of Corona. With the closure of the catering trade, he returned to his homeland Greece and will not return after the crisis. Without Corona, the tenant of the sports restaurant would probably have ended the contract at the end of the year. However, in the middle of this difficult time, chairman Josef Felsl has the great challenge of looking for a new host together with his board team. Ideally, the sports home should also open when the restaurant is restarted. The lease with the previous host ends prematurely on June 30.

Otherwise, the Zollinger come through the crisis quite well - also because the trainers and trainers forego compensation. Only the full-time tennis coach continues to be paid - and when it comes to sports, Felsl asks why it is not allowed to play at the moment. The association has offered its help in recent weeks with shopping for Zollinger - but these services have hardly been used.

In order to stay fit in times of exit restrictions, Felix and Paul Ilberg came up with something: They shoot sports videos for YouTube. The response is huge.
