About three months have passed since Kobe Bryant's painful and tragic death and it seems that the world of sports in general and basketball in particular will need more time to digest the loss. Who needs to look at the pain every day and move forward is Kobe's widow - Vanessa. On Wednesday, the football legend's widow shared a post on networks revealing that she had found a letter from her husband. This week Vanessa celebrated her 38th birthday, the first birthday she celebrates without her husband and eldest child - Gianna.
Vanessa wrote in an Instagram post: "Yesterday I found an envelope that reads: 'For the love of my life. From your papi.' I was waiting for another letter for my birthday. I miss the love of my life and my little Mamasita, my soul mate. Grateful to wake up today with my three sweet daughters. I wish we were all here together. "

Yesterday I found an envelope labeled To: The Love of my Life. From, Tu Papi I waited to open one more letter on my birthday. It gave me something to look forward to today. The irony is that Kobe had a photo of me drawn with an Angel holding me up by an artist on the cover. Missing the Love of my Life and my sweet little Mamacita- my fellow Taurus. Grateful to wake up to my 3 sweet girls today. Wish we were all together. # MyBirthdayWish
